This facilitated conversation with Roman Music Therapy Services will focus on the impact of relationship-building on leadership growth. Some of the most transformative inflection points in a leader’s journey can be spurred on by a single conversation or traced back to one meaningful connection. What we traditionally call “mentorship” can take many forms – grabbing a coffee with a peer, sitting down for a weekly check-in with a supervisor, or even an informal water-cooler chat about future plans. Throughout our lives, we are all mentors and mentees – often at the same time!
In this session, Roman Music Therapy Services encourages attendees to reflect on the formal or informal “mentorship” relationships that helped drive them forward. Attendees will discuss how to maximize these connections when they arise, and will consider their power as everyday leaders who can drive change for others.
