The Provider Newspaper

The Provider newspaper, now in its 44th year, is the flagship publication for the Providers' Council.

The Provider newspaper is the flagship publication for the Providers’ Council and is widely considered the voice of the private provider industry in Massachusetts. With a combined hard copy and electronic circulation estimated at over 3,000, the newspaper is the most widely read – and respected – publication of its kind in the state.

You can view a sample issue of The Provider here. Back issues are available exclusively for Providers’ Council members in the Members Only section of our website.

The Provider offers the latest news in the human services industry; updates on legislative items, regulatory policies and educational opportunities; commentaries from sector leaders; a column from a legislator or other elected official; member and employee profiles; and personnel and agency news and notes.

The Council strives to make The Provider relevant and meaningful to the overall human services community and our members. We are interested in your ideas on how we can best achieve that goal. To submit a letter to the editor, a response to an editorial, an idea for  commentary, a nomination for an agency to be profiled or news and notes about your agency, contact editor Stefan Geller via e-mail or by phone at 508.599.2245.
