Healthcare Providers are sometimes the last to recognize their own need for care, often because of exhaustion, lack of time, and the demanding commitment to serving others. After experiencing burnout and being diagnosed with a chronic illness, presenter Cari Ryding realized she needed to take better care of herself but at the same time remaining authentic to her practice. In learning to apply self-care principles on herself, she emerged with a clearer understanding of how to move forward from a position of strength.
In this webinar, Cari will lean on her years of caregiving and nursing leadership experience to have a deep and honest conversation about the challenges of self-care in our culture. She will identify a specific difficulty for providers and caregivers that blocks self-care and will address a comprehensive model for self-care that opens the door to releasing suffering and creating a deeper understanding of oneself.
This webinar is approved for 1.5 CEUs for NASW, LICSW, LDAC, LMHC and Nursing.
