Community Webinar: What a Social Worker Needs To Know about the Law

Focusing on a few key areas, legal dos and don’ts will be explored in depth. These areas will include provider safety from dangerous patients, responding to a subpoena, boundary cautions, and instructive case studies sourced from real-life situations.
This session offers 1.5 CEUs for Social Work.

Helping social workers stay physically safe and legally protected from inadvertent violations of the standards of practice or current laws
Helping social workers understand how the law can inform and influence their professional decision-making
Understanding and avoiding issues that come before the social work licensing board
