The Providers’ Council, as part of its continuing commitment to creating educational opportunities for the human services workforce, is offering three scholarships for graduate degrees.
Applications for the one-time awards are available now and due by Friday, June 15th.
The $10,000 Graduate Leadership Scholarship was created to support the promotion and development of the human services sector’s workforce. Eligible candidates will be entering or currently enrolled in a master’s degree program and employed by a Council member in good standing. (Other criteria also apply.) Most accredited master’s programs are eligible provided the applicant demonstrates in their personal statement how the program is clearly related to their future contributions to human services.

The Council also offers $4,000 Master of Public Administration scholarships in partnership with Clark University in Worcester and Suffolk University in Boston to a member employee who has graduated from the Council’s Certificate in Nonprofit Human Services Management Program.
These are one-time grants of $4,000 — one at each of the two universities — and will be awarded to a Council member employee who is entering or is currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration program at Clark or Suffolk.
Scholarship recipients are selected from qualified applicants by the Council’s Education Committee. Questions about the scholarships or any of the Council’s educational offerings may be emailed to Amanda McCarthy.
