The Providers’ Council is hosting free webinars exclusively for members in March and April.
The Workforce Training Fund Program information session, with Kristen Rayne of Commonwealth Corporation, will take place via webinar on Tuesday, March 12 at 10 a.m. The Workforce Training Fund Program awards between $18 million and $22 million annually to Massachusetts employers that contribute to Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance to help train and upskill their workforce. The information session will cover the features and requirements of each program; funding availability and the application process; and which grants are best suited for providers’ needs. Associate Member Tech Networks of Boston will host Cybersecurity – What Every Nonprofit Needs to Know on Tuesday, March 19 at 1 p.m. Tuan Pham, CEO at TechBoston, will educate members on how to reduce the risk of data loss, reputation damage, revenue loss and business-threatening downtime that can occur with a cyberattack. And Associate Member Kevin P. Martin and Associates, P.C. (KPM) Executive Director Dan Keleher will lead Client Confidentiality and the Mobile Workforce on Thursday, April 18 at 10 a.m. Work environments are increasingly flexible, with employees working in the community or from home. This session will help understand the potential risks of the mobile workforce and provide actionable takeaways on how to increase data security and limit the risk of client data breaches.
