News Better benefits can help attract, retain employees

The Providers’ Council offers a number of member benefits designed to help human services nonprofits access cost-effective products and services as well as enhance the benefits they offer to employees.

The Council recently announced that, in partnership with USI Insurance Services, a two-year rate hold has been negotiated for Delta Dental participants for the term of April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2020. A slight rate increase – notably below market norms – will take effect April 1. The rate hold will allow for budget planning during the next two years. It is the second time the Council has locked in a two-year rate for dental insurance.

The Council’s Delta Dental program is one of its most popular member benefits, providing exclusive dental coverage to nearly two-thirds of its members. Interested Council members can receive a free, no-obligation cost comparison and analysis of potential savings through the Delta Dental program by working with the Council’s dedicated USI/Delta Dental representative.

USI Insurance Services has also renewed another four-year rate hold for the vision insurance program on behalf of Council members. Members can receive a free analysis from USI Insurance Services on the cost of adding a vision plan to your employee insurance offerings.

Enhancing your employee benefits offerings with dental and vision insurance can increase your appeal to job seekers and boost retention of current staff. To learn more about our new Delta Dental rates or get a free, no-obligation analysis of any of USI’s insurance offerings, including vision, contact Michelle Martone at michelle.martone@usi.com or 413.750.4331.

If you have questions about this or any of the many benefits available to Providers’ Council members, please contact Christina Broughton or call her at 617.428.3637 x125.
