How to Reduce New DSP Turnover

April 2 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$50

Date and Time: April 2; 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Location: Online via Zoom

Losing new Direct Support Professionals in their first six months on the job is exhausting and frustrating. You wish you could magically raise their pay, but you can’t. Plus, so much happens during onboarding, orientation, and training that it’s overwhelming for everyone to juggle it all.

It’s easy to feel stuck when you think about all of that. This practical and hands-on training will help you find simple steps you can take (for free) to keep new staff.

One director of HR shared, “We hired 20 DSPs and kept 18 of them since applying this exercise to every step of our onboarding process!”

Intended Audience: Executives, HR Professionals, Supervisors and anyone who welcomes and onboards new employees at their organization

In this training, you will explore how to:

– Look at the onboarding and training experience through the eyes of a new employee to see what’s driving turnover;– Identify opportunities to help new DSPs feel more confident and less overwhelmed; and– Leave with a simple and practical next step you can take toward keeping new staff.
