The Commonwealth’s Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) helps create business opportunities for certified minority-, women-, veteran-, disability-, and LGBT-owned businesses by fostering partnerships with state contractors.
For health and human service providers, understanding your organization’s SDP requirements is an important part of meeting your contractual obligations. POS providers are required to submit an SDP Plan Form for Purchase of Service with their Uniform Financial Report (UFR).
Whether you are looking to better understand SDP requirements, strengthen your organization’s supplier diversity efforts, or identify potential partners, this session will provide information and resources to help you move forward.
Presented by the SDO in partnership with the Providers’ Council, the webinar will cover:
– Understanding the SDP: An overview of the Supplier Diversity Program
– Reporting requirements: What providers need to know about SDP reporting
– Finding partners: How to identify certified diverse businesses that may be a good fit for your organization
– Certification opportunities: Nonprofit organization certifications available through the SDO

Katherine Thomas, Training and Policy Manager, Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office
