By strategically sharing about ourselves, those of us in the helping professions can open doors for our clients to feel safe, valued, included, and empowered. This webinar will provide opportunities to experience strategic self-disclosure, reflect on its impact and guidelines for utilizing it in your work.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
– Understand the benefits of strategic self-disclosure
– Understand key factors in determining what to share with clients
– Understand how a non-hierarchical approach to work with clients is an equity building model
