This session equips nonprofit leaders, program managers, and workforce development professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully access and leverage workforce training grants in Massachusetts. Participants will gain a clear understanding of key funding sources such as Workforce Training Fund Programs (WTFP), and how to align them with organizational goals for workforce development and capacity building.
The session will demystify the grant application process, highlight common pitfalls, and provide practical strategies for designing competitive proposals that demonstrate impact, equity, and sustainability. By the end of the session, participants will be better prepared to secure funding that strengthens their workforce and advances their mission.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
– Develop a strategic approach to aligning workforce development and capacity-building initiatives with grant priorities and funding criteria.
– Apply best practices to prepare a competitive grant application, including articulating outcomes, measuring impact, and demonstrating organizational readiness.
– Identify key Massachusetts workforce training grant opportunities and determine eligibility requirements relevant to nonprofit organizations.
