Free, Members-Only Webinar: Fundraising Is Everyone’s Work – Creating Alignment Across Leadership, Programs, Marketing, and Development
Date and Time: December 2; 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Online via Zoom
Intended Audience: Marketing & Development Staff, Financial Leaders, Executive Leadership
Learning Track: Finance & Sustainability, Leadership & Organizational Development
Successful fundraising does not happen within the development department alone. It requires coordination among organizational leadership, program teams, marketing and communications staff, board members, and fundraisers. In this interactive webinar, participants will explore how each area of an organization contributes to fundraising success without expecting every employee to become a fundraiser. The session will examine common gaps in communication, roles, and workflows that can affect donor engagement and organizational sustainability. Participants will learn practical strategies for sharing program stories, outcomes, funding priorities, and relationship information more effectively. They will leave with clear next steps for building a more collaborative and aligned approach to fundraising.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
– Understand the distinct but interconnected roles that leadership, programs, marketing and communications, development staff, and board members play in supporting fundraising.
– Identify communication, workflow, and role-clarity gaps that may be limiting fundraising effectiveness within their organizations.
– Use practical strategies for improving cross-functional collaboration, sharing stories and outcomes, and creating greater organizational alignment around fundraising.
