48th Annual Membership & Business Meeting

Registration is now open for the Providers’ Council’s 48th Annual Membership & Business Meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, May 3 at The Verve Hotel in Natick.

The annual meeting will be hosted by the Providers’ Council and begin at 10:30 a.m. Council members will review the association’s finances, discuss committee achievements from the past year and elect directors and officers to the Council’s board.

The Human Services Providers Charitable Foundation, Inc. will then hold an afternoon luncheon, forum and panel discussion on a new report from the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, titled Essential or Not? The Critical Need for Human Services Workers.”

Report author Christina Citino will lead a presentation on the report’s findings, followed by a panel of respondents who will discuss the report, growing vacancies in the human services workforce and the impact it could have on the hundreds of thousands of Massachusetts residents who depend on this sector for essential services.
