Join us for this in-person, members-only University Roundtable as we bring together representatives from local colleges and universities with strong Social Work and Human Services programs to explore meaningful ways to connect students and graduates with your organization’s employment opportunities. This year’s session will feature both a panel discussion and an expo-style format, giving attendees the opportunity to hear directly from representatives at William James College, Urban College of Boston, Worcester State University, and Northern Essex Community College. Panelists will discuss academic programs related to human services, along with insights into their internship and co-op opportunities, career services, and strategies for building strong partnerships with human services organizations.
Attendees will have dedicated time to connect more closely with each institution in an expo-style setting, allowing for more personalized conversations and relationship-building.
University representatives will discuss:
– How their internship, co-op, and field placement programs are structured
– Best practices for successful student placements and partnerships with agencies
– Opportunities and challenges related to connecting students with jobs and internship opportunities
