The Providers’ Council issued the below statement on Friday, October 13 regarding the terrorist attacks in Israel. We’ve also compiled statements from our members on this page.
“As an association of human services providers that provide critical support to vulnerable populations and uplift our common humanity, the Providers’ Council is heartbroken by the violence and devastation that has erupted in Israel through terrorism. We in America are unfortunately too familiar with senseless and inhumane acts of terrorism.
We stand against the atrocities and unthinkable acts committed by a terrorist group. Our hope is for a peaceful solution to be reached quickly so countless more lives will not be lost in this ongoing conflict.
The Council offers its thoughts, prayers and support to all of our friends and colleagues during this tragic period.”
