News Free summer webinar topics include fundraising, retirement benefit for small nonprofits

The Providers’ Council has just added two free webinars — exclusively for members — to the summer training calendar.

On Tuesday, June 25, the Council will host Understanding the Massachusetts 401(k) CORE Plan for Small Nonprofits 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. It will be led by CORE Plan Associate Sales Director Lisa Cardinal.

The Massachusetts 401(k) CORE Plan was built for small nonprofits to help their employees save and invest for a financially secure retirement. Cardinal will help members understand the scope of this program and whether your organization is eligible to enroll in it. She will go over the features and administration of the Massachusetts CORE Plan and highlight how the CORE Plan helps smaller nonprofits offer a valuable benefit to their staff. There will be time for questions. Learn more and register.

The Council is also offering an Associate Member webinar — Dollars from Donors: A Research-Driven Approach — on Tuesday, July 30 from noon to 1 p.m. Hosted by Sarah Lange, principal and founder of New Era for Non Profits, the webinar will address better practices, helping participants understand how to use scientifically-proven approaches to leverage more dollars from donors than ever before. Lange will discuss the contemporary philanthropic landscape and where the money is; donor motivations and loyalty; and how to apply research-driven approaches to fundraising. Learn more and register.

The Council’s free webinars are designed to provide members with valuable information and professional development in a convenient, accessible manner.
