Fair pay, loan repayment bills reported favorably by Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilites

The Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities earlier this week reported the Providers’ Council’s Fair Pay for Comparable Work and Student Loan Repayment legislation out of committee favorably, a significant step in securing additional funding for human services programs and workers. The bills have been referred to the Senate committee on Ways and Means.
