Autistic individuals are known to have poorer health conditions – both physical and mental – as compared to mainstream populations. These health disparities begin in primary developmental years, continuing throughout their lives. This training will bring awareness to this issue, using research and real-world experiences to help providers give more accessible, efficacious care to their autistic clients. This training also offers suggestions for immediate changes that may contribute to safety and thus lead to enhanced outcomes.
This session is approved for 1.5 CEUs for NASW / LICSW / LDAC / LMHC / Nursing.
*You will need to create an account or log into your existing Conversations account to register for the training and will need to access that account for the live webinar.
