People of all ages are being targeted by scamming operations and older adults are most frequently targeted. As a result, some people in our communities have lost their entire savings. The methods of deception have become increasingly sophisticated and devious.

This training offers information for providers and consumers that will cover different types of scam tactics, scam mediums, and common forms of scams. It will also address prevention from identity theft, and what to do in the event one’s identity has been stolen. The webinar will also outline assistance the Attorney General’s Office can provide related to scams and identity theft.

This session offers 2 CEUs for NASW, LICSW, LDAC, LMHC and Nursing.
