Ensure your organization is informed about changing unemployment taxes!
Paul Scott, Vice President at UTMC, Providers’ Council Endorsed Business Partner, will update members regarding the ongoing modernization of the state unemployment portal that will go live in May 2025. Paul will review the steps that members must take to access the new system, to properly administer claims and to identify and limit fraudulent claims. In addition, the presentation will review the ongoing increases in unemployment taxes and the two methods of financing available to nonprofit organizations.
During this session, participants will:
– Learn about modernizing updates to the state unemployment portal in May 2025;
– Understand recent changes to unemployment taxes; and
– Gain knowledge of the two methods of financing available to nonprofit organizations.
