Today is the big day! Have you already voted? If not, do you have a plan to vote? What about your co-workers, clients, friends and family members?
Voting is crucial for our democracy and The Caring Force wants to help make sure that politicians in both Washington and Massachusetts hear the voice of our Caring Community. Taking part in today’s election means having a say in Presidential, Congressional and local races, as well as the statewide ballot questions about Right to Repair and Ranked Choice Voting.
Here are some helpful resources for tomorrow’s election!
- Looking for where to vote and who is on your ballot? Click here.
- Looking for a way to get to the polls? Click here.
- Looking to learn more about the two ballot questions? Click here.
Please remember that all polling locations are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. and if you are in line at 8 p.m. you are still allowed to vote, no one can turn you away! If you still have a mail in ballot, make sure to drop it off at your local election office, an official dropbox, or the polls before 8 p.m. today. If you feel that your voting rights are being violated for any reason, you can call Election Protection, the nation’s largest and longest-running nonpartisan voter protection coalition, for free at 1.866.OUR.VOTE (1.866.687.8683).
If you have already voted, thank you! Make sure to reach out to your friends, colleagues, consumers, clients and neighbors to make sure they’re ready to get out the vote! As a reminder, your elected officials can see who votes and who doesn’t vote. You can help them find their polling location or even offer them a ride! You can also use social media to help encourage your friends to vote, using the hashtag #CareVote on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.
Thank you for voting to support Caring Communities!
