Happy Election Day! Have you already voted? If not, do you have a plan to vote? What about your co-workers, clients, friends and family members?
Voting is crucial for our democracy! The Caring Force wants to ensure the community-based human services workforce is voting to support caring communities in today’s election.

All polling locations are now open, and they will remain open until 8 p.m. If you are in line at 8 p.m., you cannot be turned away and you are still allowed to vote. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by today and arrive by Nov. 12 in order to be counted.
If you feel that your voting rights are being violated for any reason, you can call Election Protection, the nation’s largest and longest-running nonpartisan voter protection coalition, for free at 1.866.OUR.VOTE (1.866.687.8683).
If you have already voted, thank you! Make sure to reach out to your friends, colleagues, consumers, clients and neighbors to make sure they’re ready to get out the vote! You can help them find their polling location or even offer them a ride! You can also use social media to help encourage your friends to vote, using the hashtag #CareVote on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.
Thank you for voting to support caring communities!
