The Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities favorably reported our livable wage bill – An act relative to a livable wage for human service workers – advancing it through the legislative process. The next committee to hear the livable wage bills is House and Senate Ways and Means.
This means we are one step closer to achieving a livable wage for the hundreds of the thousands of humans services workers across the Commonwealth!
