We are so grateful to the nearly 600 Caring Force members who attended the 13th Annual Caring Force Rally and Lobby Day last week to advocate for a livable wage and sustainable student loan repayment program. We filled the building with a sea of gold, shining as brightly as the State House dome!
their powerful human services stories with the crowd, including Rosalee Sánchez from NFI, Jawaan Kellam from The Home for Little Wanderers, and participants from 18 Degrees, Jillian Delphia, Myah House, and A’Sharia Supreme.
We were also honored to hear from Senate President Karen Spilka and to present Senator Liz Miranda and Representative Lindsay Sabadosa with their very own QTs—our Caring Bear Awards—for being champions of the sector at the State House.
