We’re so excited to see you next week, Thursday, May 8 in the Great Hall (on the 2nd Floor, towards the middle of the State House), for our 13th Annual Caring Force Rally!
Timeline:
Arrive by 10 a.m. for check-in, refreshments, and networking. Our speaking program will begin at 10:30 a.m. Legislative visits will begin around 11:15 a.m.
Security:
The State House has two entrances to use; the General Hooker entrance is on Beacon Street (across from Park Street). The Ashburton Park Entrance is on Bowdoin Street (across from Ashburton Place) and is the accessible entrance for the State House. You will go through security and metal detectors at each entrance. Since The Caring Force rally attracts a lot of attendees, lines may be long, so please consider getting to the State House earlier rather than later.
Office visits:
We encourage everyone to visit their legislators after the speaking portion. Contact offices in advance or drop in that day. Learn who your legislators are and where their offices are located here.
Materials:
We will provide a leave behind letter and a sheet of our legislative priorities for you on rally day, but you can go ahead and print it, too! If you print, bring and fill out two copies of the leave-behind letter in advance – one for your senator and one for your representative – this will help you save time on Rally Day!
Finally, for any last-minute questions or concerns, please attend our “Know Before You Go” Webinar, this Thursday, May 1 at 1:00 p.m.! You can RSVP for the webinar, here.
