The Providers’ Council is offering up to $18,000 in scholarships for human services employees pursuing an advanced degree.
Created to support the promotion and development of the human services sector’s workforce, the $10,000 Graduate Leadership Scholarship is a one-time award of $10,000 for a Council member employee who is entering or is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program. Most accredited master’s programs are eligible as long as each applicant demonstrates how the program is clearly related to their future contributions to the human services sector in their personal statement.

Additionally, the Providers’ Council, in partnership with Suffolk University and Clark University, offers a Master of Public Administration Scholarship for each school. These scholarships are also based on leadership, merit and need.
These are one-time awards of $4,000 each and will be awarded to a Council member employee who is entering or is currently enrolled in the MPA program at Suffolk University or Clark University. There will be one recipient for each school, selected by the Council’s Scholarship Committee. Eligible applicants must have successfully completed the Providers’ Council’s Certificate in Nonprofit Human Services Management Program. More details and an application can be found here!
