This year The Caring Force will hold its Seventh Annual State House Rally and Lobby Day – Lucky Number 7!
For the past six years, hundreds of Caring Force members have filled the State House and advocated for fair funding for human service programs, adequate salaries for low-paid direct care workers and more! This year, we’re making our Seventh Annual Caring Force Rally and Lobby Day the best one yet.
To make a real impact with our legislators on Beacon Hill, we need your help! Please plan to join us at the State House on Tuesday, April 10th at 10 a.m. and help fill the Great Hall with gold Caring Force T-shirts for this annual event.
This year, the Caring Force is promoting its Pro-Workforce Legislative Agenda to support human service workers and the sector through the creation of a student loan repayment program and pay equity between state employees and those doing comparable work at nonprofit, community-based providers..
We have learned through past rallies that to make a difference, we have to rally and be heard! Showing our unity through this rally is key to our success. It gives us the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the legislators, share our personal stories and educate others on how vitally important the human service sector is in building caring communities across the Commonwealth.
The seventh rally with be a lucky one indeed with our more than 25,000 Caring Force members to help us make it a success! Can we count on you to join us on April 10th?
After you RSVP to The Caring Force Rally, don’t forget to invite your friends, family and co-workers to RSVP as well. Together we can show Massachusetts the power of The Caring Force!
