Here is the moment you’ve been waiting for! The Tenth Annual Broadcast Your Love of Human Services Visual Media Contest is here, and we’re excited to see your submissions!
Interested in having your visual art piece featured at the Providers’ Council’s 46th Annual Convention & Expo, Essential: Then, Now and Always, which will take place virtually Oct. 19 through 21? How about complimentary registration to the Convention and Expo, a Caring Force spotlight and a $250 VISA gift card for your organization? To be entered, all you need to do is take a photo, make a video or craft a visual art piece, then post it and submit a form entering it for the contest!
Submit a visual media piece that celebrates our incredible Caring Force; it can be a group photo, painting, fun video or anything else that inspires you. It can capture your colleagues, your job, yourself and your pride in human services workers in general. A lot is happening in the world right now – we would love to see submissions about the incredible diversity in our workforce or the powerful resilience of human services workers through the pandemic.
To submit your photo, post it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, tag @TheCaringForce and include the hashtag #BroadcastYourLove. Consistent with our contest rules, please make sure to get the permission of your organization’s chief executive or their designee before posting. In addition to posting your photo on social media, please fill out this form with a link to your post. Entries will not be accepted into the official contest unless they are accompanied by the form.
Submissions will then be shared by The Caring Force’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts after the September 3rd submission deadline.
A panel of judges will take the following into consideration when determining the finalists:
- The number of likes, comments, and shares for each submission.
- Clever use of The Caring Force imagery. Please make sure to include The Caring Force logo, shirt, colors, or mascot (QT the bear) in the photo.
- When applicable, this year’s convention theme of “Essential: Then, Now and Always”
As always, each of the three finalists – selected by your votes (likes / comments / shares) and our panel – will be invited to attend our 46th Annual Convention & Expo, Essential: Then, Now and Always, which will take place virtually Oct. 19 through 21. The convention will feature a final vote for the winner. First, second and third place winners will receive $250, $100 and $50 gift cards respectively for their organizations.
The deadline to submit your photo is Friday, September 3rd, but we’d love to see them earlier.
