“Parenting Journey condemns police brutality, racial profiling, and the excessive use of force. There is no excuse for the dehumanization of anyone. The hurt our communities are feeling right now is justified and it is up to all of us to work to dismantle a system that was always broken.

“Racism is a public health crisis. We see it in the way COVID-19 is affecting communities of color. We see it in the targeting and killing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade and countless other black people. And we feel it in the pervasive hate that has informed policy and public dialogue for generations.

“There is a cry for help that needs to be answered. We stand with parents and families and pledge to play an active role in being an anti-racist organization.”
