Gándara Center’s mission is to promote the well-being of Hispanics, African-Americans and other culturally diverse populations through innovative, culturally competent behavioral health, prevention, and educational services.

Our mission remains strong: With the recent events taking place across the country, we find ourselves in uncertain times. Acts of racism contradict everything we believe as a people and as an agency. Our mission, actions, and services speak to caring for our community, staff, and those we serve regardless of race.

Now, more than ever, Gándara Center is resolute in its determination to help the oppressed. We remain steadfast in our mission to champion the underserved, as we have for more than 40 years.

Know that we are here to help you through these difficult times. We will continue to support our core mission, to promote the well-being of culturally diverse populations as we have since our founding in 1977.
