News Registration open for winter Certificate in Supervision Series in Needham

The winter session of the Providers’ Council’s six-session Certificate in Supervision Series takes place Thursdays, beginning Jan. 31 at Walker in Needham.

Nearly 600 supervisors have completed the Supervision Series, which is offered three times a year in different regions of the state. One of the most popular trainings offered by the Council, participants earn a certificate up completing all six half-day sessions. It is also approved for 18 Social Work Continuing Education hours for relicensure.

Veteran trainers Virginia Maglio of Optimum Development and Jim Ognibene of Visioneer Consulting will lead the winter session. Dates and topics are:

  • Jan. 31: Communications and Leadership
  • Feb. 14: Situational Leadership
  • Feb. 28: Conflict Management
  • March 14: Team Building
  • March 21: Performance Management
  • March 28: Group Planning and Decision-making

All classes take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This training is open to both members and non-members, but seating is limited and this training regularly sells out. Register today to reserve your seat.
