News Membership Monday: Portal To Hope

At the Council, we are proud to highlight the achievements of our members who are driving change in the community. To celebrate 50 Years of Impact, the Council is launching a new blog series entitled “Membership Monday,” where we will share information about the incredible work our members do within the human services sector! This membership Monday, as part of our yearlong celebration of the Providers’ Council’s 50th anniversary, we’re shining a spotlight on Portal To Hope.

Founded in 1996 by a survivor of violent crime, Portal To Hope (PTH) is an award-winning, community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Guided by the voices of survivors, PTH serves Everett, Lynn, Malden, Medford, Winthrop, and neighboring communities — providing direct support to an average of 900 individuals each year…
