At the Council, we are proud to highlight the achievements of our members who are driving change in the community. To celebrate 50 Years of Impact, the Council is launching a new blog series entitled “Membership Monday,” where we will share information about the incredible work our members do within the human services sector! This membership Monday, as part of our yearlong celebration of the Providers’ Council’s 50th anniversary, we’re shining a spotlight on 18 Degrees Inc.
Formerly known as Berkshire Children and Families, 18 Degrees has been a critical resource in the region for more than 130 years. Their mission is to promote well-being, strengthen children, youth, and families, and build better communities. Over time, they have adapted to meet the evolving needs of the people they serve — expanding their reach in 2006 beyond Berkshire County and adopting the name 18 Degrees in 2020 to better reflect their vision and impact.
