The Providers’ Council recently announced that it is once again hosting its popular training Success as a New Supervisor this month.
This two-day, hybrid training will take place on Wednesday, August 17 at the Providers’ Council’s office in Framingham, and on Wednesday, August 24 via Zoom. Both of these trainings will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This training regularly sells out, so reserve your spot today!
Strong leaders take initiative, think strategically and empower others to carry out a vision. The supervisor, in particular, plays a key role in the success of any organization. Attendees will explore and define many of the competencies required of those who serve in the role of supervisor. This training is for both current and newly-promoted supervisors and offers an opportunity for the development and retention of these key staff members.
In this session, attendees will:
· Learn what skills are required of today’s leaders;
· Learn how leadership is different from management;
· Practice the core skills needed for new supervisors; and
· Understand how to increase staff engagement and competence.
