The Providers’ Council will welcome Gov. Charlie Baker to the 43rd Annual Convention & Expo: RISE! on Thursday, Sept. 20 at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston. Gov. Baker, who also attended the Providers’ Council convention in 2017 and 2015, will address more than 1,100 attendees at the largest annual event of its kind in the Northeast.
EOHHS Secretary Marylou Sudders will also address attendees, and keynote speaker Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch — who became the highest ranking Hispanic woman in the Combat Support Field of the U.S. Army — will share her inspiring rise through the military and her journey to the educator and author she is today.
The annual convention also includes the presentation of the Council’s Awards of Excellence and Peer Provider Awards (to be hosted again by Boston 25 Anchor Vanessa Welch), 36 workshops, nearly 80 exhibitors and networking throughout the day.
Registration closes Friday, Sept. 7 or when the event sells out.
