The Providers’ Council will host a virtual speaker series this summer about recruitment and retention in the human services sector, beginning Thursday, July 14.
Guest speakers will explore a variety of strategies on strengthening today’s workforce, and will cover how to tap into diverse applicant pools, maximize your staff’s strengths and build inclusive work environments. Sessions will run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Session I, led by Jim Ognibene of Visioneer Consulting, will focus on specific actions one can take to retain current staff. Specifically, participants will:
- Discuss at least three high impact actions that can be implemented to build retention
- Learn about recent research, post-Covid, on what is important to the next generation
- Hear from other agencies about successful retention strategies and build collective knowledge
