News Council seeking 2019 convention workshop RFPs

The Providers’ Council is seeking your expertise for our 44th Annual Convention & Expo: Everyone Counts being held Monday, Oct. 7 in Boston.

The Council is soliciting workshop proposals for the convention that would benefit executives, direct care staff, program managers, board members and other stakeholders in the Massachusetts human services sector.

The convention has historically offered a diverse range of topics relevant to the field of human services, from worker safety to positive behavioral supports, new funding sources, career advancement and wellness. We especially encourage topics that complement this year’s theme of Everyone Counts. Tracks include clinical, executive, management, administrative and finance and wellness.

Presenters receive complimentary admission to the entire convention and expo, including lunch, and limited reimbursement for copying expenses. Each 90-minute workshop has 20 to 100 attendees, but attendance may vary.

The convention provides wide exposure to the Massachusetts human service community, with attendees ranging from program staff to executive directors and CEOs. Workshops are listed in our registration brochure, sent to thousands of human services employees and posted on our website. Descriptions are also listed in the convention program book received by all attendees.

RFPs must be received by Friday, April 19th. Please complete the proposal form online or download the form and return it to the Council by the deadline. All applicants will be notified about the status of their proposals on or before Monday, June 3rd.

If you have questions about a topic or submitting an RFP, please email Amanda McCarthy at amccarthy@providers.org or call 617.428.3637 x128.
