While there has been some research on subsector human services job vacancies, there is no comprehensive data on the number and types of job vacancies across the entire human services sector. To thoroughly explore this issue, the Providers’ Council has partnered with the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute to survey our membership.
This survey is an important step toward building a stronger, more sustainable workforce in Massachusetts. By sharing your insights, you will help identify urgent staffing challenges and their impact on service quality and continuity.
The data from the survey will be used in a new workforce report that will be released at the Council’s Annual Membership & Business Meeting in April 2026.
