Human services providers are there every day—supporting families, strengthening communities, and helping people navigate life’s challenges. That’s why the Council is excited to join with the National Council of Nonprofits and other state associations across the country on the creative campaign to highlight how human services providers show up for those in need, solve problems and serve local communities and neighbors every single day.
The message is simple: Human Services Providers Get It Done.
The goal is to build public support that inspires lawmakers to champion policies that protect and strengthen nonprofit, community-based human services and make it possible for us to provide vital assistance to community members. The Council and its national partners want to remind citizens and decision makers that human services and nonprofits embody the “neighbors helping neighbors” ethos that is a central part of American society.
