This afternoon, Gov. Maura Healey filed a $2.24 billion supplemental closeout budget for FY ’26 that asks the Legislature to carry forward up to $90 million from the FY ’26 Chapter 257 and Human Service Reserve (1599-6903) into FY ’27.
Back in January, the administration announced plans to make a “prior appropriation continued” request to move $85 million from FY ’26 to FY ’27, so we’re pleased to see the request go higher.
