News Application deadline extended to July 9 for scholarships for graduate study!

The Providers’ Council is pleased to offer three scholarships for member staff pursuing higher education at the graduate level for the 2021-2022 academic year. Applications are available now and the deadline has been extended to Friday, July 9th!

$10,000 Graduate Leadership Scholarship

Created to support the promotion and development of the human services sector’s workforce, the Graduate Leadership Scholarship is a one-time award of $10,000 for a Council member employee who is entering or is currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree program. Most accredited graduate programs are eligible provided the applicant demonstrates in their personal statement how the program is clearly related to their future contributions to the human services sector.  Graduate Leadership Scholarship application

Master of Public Administration Scholarship in Partnership with Suffolk University

The Providers’ Council, in partnership with Suffolk University, will be awarding two Master of Public Administration scholarships. These scholarships are based on leadership, merit and financial need. This is a one-time grant of $4,000 and will be awarded to two Council member employees who are entering or are currently enrolled in the MPA program at Suffolk University. Foreign-Born Leader Scholarship

The Providers’ Council is pleased to announce its new Foreign-Born Leader Scholarship. This scholarship seeks to support one dedicated human services employee with $3,000 toward their graduate education. This is a one-time award for a foreign-born Council member employee who is entering or is currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree program. Foreign-Born Leader Scholarship Application
