Join the Providers’ Council for a free, members-only webinar, The Tax Cuts & Jobs Act, and What Nonprofits Need to Know, facilitated by Joshua England of Providers’ Council Associate Member AAFCPAs.
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) represents a dramatic overhaul of the U.S. tax code, and includes widespread changes to the tax rules affecting charitable nonprofits. Several TCJA changes, including the new unrelated business income tax (UBIT) “Siloing” rules and taxability of fringe benefits may apply to state tax filings as well.
AAFCPAs’ Joshua England, Trust, Estate, Tax and Nonprofit Attorney and Chris Consoletti, Trust, Estate, Tax and Nonprofit Attorney will provide an overview of how TCJA impacts nonprofits, including guidance on operational changes nonprofits may need to make right away. There will be time for your questions. This session will be highly relevant to nonprofit finance executives and executive directors.
In this session, you will:
- Learn how TCJA has changed the tax benefits donors may receive from making a charitable contribution to better anticipate how private donations could be impacted; and
- Gain awareness of new provisions of the TCJA that may impact your operations.
