Join the Providers’ Council and Suffolk University to learn more about the Certificate in Nonprofit Human Service Management Program. This year-long, graduate-level program is designed for mid-career human service professionals who seek to strengthen their management skills and learn in specialized, sector-specific classes with peers from other human service agencies. The program is offered in partnership with Suffolk University in Boston.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from representatives from the Moakley Center at Suffolk University and a current student enrolled in the program. There will be a Q&A portion at the end of this event.
Examples of classes in this program include:
- Nonprofit Human Service Management
- Financial Management
- Program and Policy Evaluation
- Human Resources Management
- Legal & Ethical Issues for Nonprofits
- Alternative Revenue Strategies for Nonprofits
The curriculum of the Certificate Program is designed to build skills and knowledge in these key areas so that students can immediately apply what they are learning in the classroom to their work in the field. In addition, the yearlong program offers students a unique opportunity to grow their network of peers and connects them with other human services managers and leaders to support the sharing of ideas. Applications for the ’22-’23 academic year are being accepted through May 15th, 2022.
