The Caring Force Blog Three Things to Do Today for The State House Rally

| Isabella A. Lee

1.  RSVP for yourself & your group!

The State House Rally is approaching sooner than you think! Join us in the Great Hall, Wednesday, May 13 at 10:30 a.m. to stand alongside frontline workers, consumers, and supporters — and tell legislators what our communities need. Speakers will advocate for student loan repayment and fair pay for direct care workers.

Our legislators need to hear your voice to understand why passing our legislative agenda can’t wait.

2.  Invite Your Legislator

Not only do we need you in the room, we need our legislators to hear us!

Use our ready-to-send, customizable template to personally invite your legislators to stand with us in the Great Hall at the State House rally. It takes just minutes — and it could make all the difference.

Send the invite today → Click here.

3. State House Rally Coordinators Meeting (For Captains & Ambassadors) — April 1, 2026 (Not a joke!)

Whether you’re a Caring Force rally veteran or brand new to the movement, we’re hosting a State House Rally Coordinators Meeting where we’ll introduce ourselves and assign volunteer roles ahead of rally day. Current Captains and Ambassadors are strongly encouraged to attend, or send a representative on their behalf.

Responsibilities may include welcoming fellow rally-goers, distributing materials, capturing moments for social media, or facilitating legislator meetings, briefing peers on legislative asks, and handing out talking points. Every volunteer helps make our rallies a success!

Newcomers welcome!

The meeting will take place over Zoom on April 1, 2026.

You may register for either the 10:30 A.M. or 2:30 P.M. slot.

Register for the Coordinators Meeting → Click here.

I hope to see you this spring advocating for human services!
