Hey y’all! My name is Isabella A. Lee, a proud Chilean-American from North Carolina, and I’m honored to be the new Project Manager for The Caring Force! I believe that supporting the needs and rights of the human services sector is crucial: when this sector is properly recognized and valued, our society becomes more just and equitable.
As someone deeply passionate about the human services sector, I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact this sector has on individuals and communities. From advocating for care worker rights in Chile’s 2022 Constitutional Convention to researching ways to improve the elderly care infrastructure for the Indonesian government, I’ve been driven by a commitment to equity and dignity for the incredible work done by human services professionals. I also recently earned my Master’s from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where I specialized in Human Rights-focused Public Policy, Gender Mainstreaming and Communications.
You deserve a livable wage, a healthy working environment and the resources to take care of yourself. You deserve the same level of support that you provide for others every single day. Together, we’ll work to improve the lives of human service workers who fill 160,000 jobs across the Commonwealth and the hundreds of thousands of Massachusetts residents who rely on these essential services.
I’m here to listen, learn, and collaborate with y’all. If you have ideas on how we can better advocate for our workforce and amplify your voices at the State House, I’d love to hear from you at ilee@providers.org. Let’s work together to make a meaningful impact!
