The Caring Force Blog Coming to the Rally? Let your legislator know!

In less than two weeks – Tuesday, April 10th – The Caring Force will fill the State House for our Seventh Annual Caring Force Rally and Lobby Day!

This year’s rally will focus on creating a program to ease the burden of student loan debt and ensuring fair pay for comparable work.

More than 500 Caring Force members will pack the State House to rally for our pro-workforce agenda and honor state Senator Sal DiDomenico and state Representative Tricia Farley-Bouvier for their leadership and support of human services!

These two legislative champions will receive the coveted Caring Bear Award, but more importantly, they will have the opportunity to hear directly from human services supporters like you. We already know Sen. DiDomenico and Rep. Farley-Bouvier will be at the rally – but will *your* legislator be in attendance?

Send our pre-written letter right now and invite your legislators to attend the Seventh Annual Caring Force Rally – then request a meeting with them after the event!

We hold this rally on Beacon Hill to allow you to build relationships with elected officials, share your challenges of working in this field and discuss ways the Legislature can best support our agencies, clients, consumers and hard-working direct care professionals.

Contact your legislators today to let them know you’ll be at the 2018 Caring Force Rally! Then invite them to join you in the Great Hall on April 10 and ask them to meet with you after the event!

Once you invite your legislators and request a meeting, all that is left to do is grab your gold T-shirt and enjoy the day! We look forward to seeing you on April 10th at the State House!
