Our Seventh Annual Caring Force Rally and Lobby Day is right around the corner on Tuesday, April 10!

In less than two weeks – Tuesday, April 10th – The Caring Force will fill the State House for our Seventh Annual Caring Force Rally and Lobby Day!

The Caring Force is pleased to announce the March Member Spotlight honoree is Kim Rosenberg, a Case Manager at Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries.

In just about a month, hundreds of Caring Force members will come together to share their stories and advocate for the creation of a student loan repayment program and fair pay between state employees and community-based human service workers doing similar jobs.

We sent you a survey earlier this month asking you to share a little bit about how student loan debt is affecting you. The responses we’ve received so far have been very helpful!

This year The Caring Force will hold its Seventh Annual State House Rally and Lobby Day – Lucky Number 7!

The Providers’ Council and The Caring Force know that student loan debt is a big issue for workers in the human services sector, but we’re trying to gauge just HOW big. We often hear our members say that despite how much they love their job, they often need a second or even third job to help make monthly student loan payments – or worse, are considering leaving the sector.

Beginning in 2018, the Caring Force will send out quarterly policy updates providing members with the most current information on the state budget and Providers’ Council legislative agenda.
