The Caring Force Blog Your Vote Today Supports the Human Services Sector

Today is Primary Election Day, and I want to stress the critical importance of your vote—not just for you but for the entire human services sector. As part of a dedicated workforce that includes more than 160,000 jobs, it is essential we vote to make our voices heard at the ballot box.

Starting at 7 a.m., polls will be open to go vote. To find where to vote, enter your address here.

Polls will close at 8 p.m. so make sure to plan a time to go vote beforehand.

Voting is one of the most powerful tools we have to support our work. When we vote, we’re not just selecting candidates; we’re choosing leaders who will make decisions that directly impact the funding and policies affecting our sector. By participating in today’s primary, we strengthen our ability to advocate for essential funding and a pro-workforce legislative agenda that supports livable wages for the human services sector.
