It’s time to rally!
Every April for the past five years, hundreds of Caring Force members have filled the State House and advocated for fair funding for human service programs, adequate salaries for low-paid direct care workers and more! This year, we’re making our sixth Caring Force Rally even bigger and even better.
But to do that we will need your help! Please plan to join us at the State House on Tuesday, April 25th at 10 a.m. and help fill the Great Hall with gold Caring Force T-shirts for this annual event.
This year, the Caring Force is promoting its Pro-Workforce Legislative Agenda to support human service workers and the sector through access to affordable health care options, the creation of a student loan repayment program and pay equity between state employees and human services workers doing similar jobs.
We know what we have to do to make a difference: We have to rally and be heard! Showing our unity through this rally is key to our success. It gives us the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the legislators, share our personal stories and educate others on how vitally important the human service sector is in building caring communities across the Commonwealth.
We have big goals and plenty of excitement for our sixth annual rally. Luckily, we have more than 23,000 Caring Force members to help us make it a success! Can we count on you to join us on April 25th?
Registration starts today! If you have been to a rally in the past, break out your gold shirt and join us once again! If you haven’t been to one of our rallies, then come on out and see what all the buzz is about!
Over the past few years we have exceeded compacity so be sure to RSVP to The Caring Force Rally today, and then invite your friends, family and co-workers to join us as well. Together we can show Massachusetts the power of The Caring Force!
