Every April for the past seven years, hundreds of Caring Force members have filled the State House and advocated for fair funding for human service programs, adequate salaries for workers and more! This year, we’re switching it up, and the Eighth Annual Caring Force Rally will be held in May!
And we’re asking you to help make this May date a success! Please plan to join us at the State House on Tuesday, May 14th at 10 a.m. and fill the Great Hall with gold Caring Force T-shirts for this annual event.
This year, The Caring Force is promoting its updated Pro-Workforce Legislative Agenda to support human service workers and the sector through the creation of a student loan repayment program and pay parity between state employees and human services workers doing similar jobs.
We know what we have to do to make a difference: We have to rally and be heard! We have to get the attention of our legislators. Rallying gives us the opportunity to strengthen our relationships with legislators, share our personal stories and educate others on how vitally important the human service sector is in building caring communities across the Commonwealth.
We have big goals and plenty of excitement for our eighth annual rally. Luckily, we have more than 26,000 Caring Force members to help us make it a success!
Can we count on you to join us on May 14th?
If you have been to a rally in the past, break out your gold shirt, grab a friend and join us once again! If you haven’t been to one of our rallies, then come on out and see what all the buzz is about! Once you register be sure to tell us on social media! We would love to see how many people are registered and excited about the Eighth Annual #CaringForceRally.
Over the past few years we have exceeded capacity, so be sure to RSVP to The Caring Force Rally today, and then invite your friends, family and co-workers to join us as well. Together we can show Massachusetts the power of The Caring Force!
P.S. If your organization is bringing a big group, make sure you get T-shirts! Have your group’s organizer e-mail christine@providers.org.
